    Osiyo-
That's the thing. I am not a recruiter/headhunter. I don't actually talk to anyone. I help them position their opportunity, and network for them so that industry professionals (such as yourself) hear about their opportunity. The only time we talk to anyone is to just verify their experience/certifications. The employer receives the people that we have screened and takes over. They (employer) schedules all interviews, and conducts them. I can however restructure their ad to reflect some of these things. Thanks for the tip.

    50K-$65K A year? [/QUOTE]

That seams like more of a Controls Operation Manager position than a Control specialist.
Are the wages in Ohio really that much less then here in Cali? That Job would fetch $100K to $120K here.

The cost of living in Los Angeles, CA (just an example) is 62.8% higher than in Dayton, OH . Therefore, you would have to earn a salary of $105,840 to maintain your current standard of living (if you were making $65K/yr). Employers in Los Angeles, CA typically pay 13.1% more than employers in Dayton, OH . Therefore, if you take the same type of job in the same type of company in Los Angeles, CA you are likely to earn $73,493 .

Now this isn't exact-but it is a baseline.

That seems to be fairly typical with smaller controls companies, you wear all hats. Last ones had guys that would actually bid/sell the job, but the controls specialist helped them with the quotes for device count and as another set of eyes to try to make sure things weren't missed. ie "sold them a web front end to control all this." "Where are the I/O controllers in this bid." "Whoops."

WOW, Thanks for educating me. I never thought there was that much of a diffrenace. I knew CA would be Higher but not 62%. Damn.

Yeah I used to work for a Mom and Pop place. I hade to Engineer/Draft/Program/Start-up/Graphics, but all Job management, submittals and sales were done by the OM and his Office staff. One day I finally realized I was getting screwed and went to work for a better company that pays me more with less job duties.
