Can I mix and match a Bryant Plus 80v/ 315 gas furnace with a Carrier Performance series 13 or 14 SEER ac unit? Will they be happy together? Also will a contractor who sells both products do it like that, or is this just a bad idea?
Thanks

Thats a fine idea. The only thing the furnace does is supply the air!

FreezeKing is correct. Just so long as the furnace has the air volume capability for the Cooling tonnage required.

That will work just fine, as Bryant and Carrier are actually from the same company. You'll also find that most HVAC dealers that sell Bryant also sell Carrier.
