    Hey guys,

I came around a number of Colemen units and Dayton units that have sporland liquid line driers in the compressor discharge line. Drier number is C-083S Has anyone seen this or is this just a shell with baffle put in the drier that sporland has specially made for york line product?

3 out of 5 york products in one day.

    Thanks

There is another thread about this, they are solid core driers, and common in upg products.

Andy, one of these days we are going to meet and I am going to .............. buy you dinner!

Andy, I am still looking for the engineer at York who I was told could give me the technical answer to this application. He and I don't work at the same location. I guess I should just call him.

I am well aware of what I wrote ct2 and Andy has read my article on filter-driers as well.

There are still some unanswered questions about this particular application that need clarification. I discussed the application with our commercial equipment design engineers and they gave me the name of one of our residential design engineers. I will find out eventually.

Andy is just ribbing me because I like to write technical articles.

BTW, I ran into Jack Bartell at the ASHRAE show in Orlando.

So between you two, who has written the most technical articles...

Jack is an excellent writer Andy. He has written a great deal of very good stuff but I don't know who has written the most. Neither of us keep score. It does not matter.

Andy, did you get to hear Jack speak at ASHRAE? He is also a very good speaker.

Unfortunately not. My booth duties (both Sporlan and Parker) and TC meetings didn't leave me much time.

The weather was quite excellent in Orlando, though
