    I dunno. I first saw a 3 legged chicken while on a Sunday drive in the country. This 3 legged chicken went by me like I was backing up. I followed him to a farmhouse and knocked on the door to find out about that chicken. Farmer said he raises them. Reason being it's just him, his wife Ethel, and son Herman. Turns out they all like the drumstick and nothing else. I asked him how they taste. He said he doesn't know...can't catch it.
