Among voters Democrats have the lowest and Republicans have the highest IQ

Yeah not surprising here especially when reading some of posts on this forum from our arrogant Democratic friends with all their personal attacks instead of trying to argue their case not that they have one anyhow. Thank you, thank you very much

My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them. It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution."

Well White males with higher than average income vote Republican a lot more than Democratic and Black females with low income almost always vote Democratic.

Yeah the low IQ group is cornered by the Democratic Party. Sorry about that. Thank you, thank you very much.

    Ya know;

    ARP folks are predictable...

I heard this issue on the radio this morning... And I thought to myself: If this makes it onto ARP... I bet I can guess who will be on each side of the discussion. AND I bet both of them will have innumerable links to articles to prove their side.

    SOOO: what have we accomplished?

I will say this: Down here in the south, folks that work hard and get ahead usually vote conservative... Whether the candidate is a Dem or GOP is irrevelant.

I show a peer reviewed study and results from the 2008 election. I'm not even sure what Glenn cited. And you come up with anecdotal "evidence."

The Socialist Liberal is far smarter than a hard working Republican! Look which one sits on their a$$es watching Oprah whilst figuring out what next scam they can perpetrate on the innocent taxpayer to help them preserve their cushy free loading lifestyle. Then they breed and train their kids that this is the way life should be. With lots of government money for the more kids they have they take over society as we know it, killing of their own Golden Goose the taxpayer!

Hang on, I am contradicting myself, maybe they are not so smart after all!

Anyone, republican or socialist who believes the studies that they read can't be too smart in my opinion anyway!

Looks like you have a good excuse not to read. The second link I posted is not a study.

The article Glenn posted was reported on NPR this morning... and even NPR agreed that folks who both have higher IQ's and drive themselves to make higher salaries tend to vote GOP... Imagine that; liberal public radio calling something in favor of conservatives.

IMO the thing we need to remember here is that trends change. Two years ago (2008 election) lots of folks voted liberal for change... well change turned out to be a bad thing so they got their common sense back and voted conservative.

PJ; I will wager you a beer by the next election things will be a lot better than they are now. And we can debate why... . Which if it turns into a lib vs GOP discussion... it will be

am i missing something about NPR? everyone keeps refering to them as right or left or whatever, but when i've listened to them they seem to be pretty neutral.

reports go along the lines of " today, blah blah blah happened... moving on.. "

:shrugs: i guess i am not listening to the right program?
