    any residential guys that work the New York,Westchecter County area heard of this company going out of business they were out of N.White Plains.heard they lost the family control with the NAMES and the company was in trouble with complaints on installs and moneys payed.

    They were pretty big and been around for a while. This is the first I have heard of them folding though.

    I dealt with Them alot when I was doing tech service for the Carrier distributor in the late 80's and early 90's, they were a quality organization, they took pride in there installations, technical abilities, and overall company image, I dealt mostly with members of the Harrison family, damn fine people, it is a true shame if they lost control to others who ruined it.

    Hmm

    i was with them in the late 70s for a couple of seasons and both 1st sons were in their,with the Trane Comfort Corps guys on the trucks.their union duct shop was huge and they did loads of commercial up along the 95 in Grennwich and Stamford,Conn.my first commercial construction start-up was that Exxon building off the Darian exit with....them seems like a 100 years ago.

    they opened a huge shop here in Stamford 2 years ago, so big I thought they were rehabbing a warehouse for a client!
    Though I'm not in the commercial arena, keep us posted maxster..

    i knew it had to be outside influences that ruined them http://www.proservicepartners.com/ artical in the Westchester paper dated 2/3 stated money from customers and incomplete jobs,and the holding back of fringe bennys to the sheetmetal side.the federal courts getting involved with the union going after them also.i will attempt to put the artical up but it might be deleted...not to flattering but doesn't mention the Pro Service group?

    I have also heard they are out, but i suspect pro-services is picking up the customer base

    I dont know, but i see the Stamford shop is empty.

    The info I got is that the Harrisons have been out for a long time over 8 years , and the last Turner family member left several years ago and opened Turner Mechanical, some one told me if you call them you get an answering machine telling you to look for a new service company.
