    That is the problem with laying off old designers -- the mfgr keeps repeating the same hazards --

    Because of lots of fires in the first color TV sets, Bussmann developed the thermal fuse ~1965 -- those TVs had lots of vacuum tubes --

    I reworked the back of my set to have only vent slots at the top, pasted alum foil over 80% of holes on back Masonite cover, which gave a chimmey effect = tube burn out reduction by $15 each month.

    You all don't remember seeing tube test machines in all electronic distributor shops -- saw one the other day in a musical instrument store --
