    Taylor soft serve machine. M# 162-27 S# j5053112
    Left side comes out liquid about/12 oz. before compressor will come on and then freezes everything ok. Everything works just fine until you let unit sit for a while than it does same thing. could standby stat be bad or acting up. and ideas would be helpful as i never worked on this style unit. I'm more familiar with large production scale ammonia ice cream machines.

    there's a small timer on each side-square relay about 2x2
    check that

    standby t-stat is only used in standby. Check off cycle timer. When handle is NOT pulled it will cycle unit every 14 min. There should be no compressor delay when handle is pulled.
