I'm interested in obtaining technical info on an old Trane as far as COP or general efficiency specs. The Model Number is BWD748A100A0. It was manufactured in 1985.
Any ideas where to look?
Thanks

Thanks very much. I'm surprised to get such a quick response.
Is it significant that you typed BWV748 instead of BWD748?
I'm surprised that a model labeled "High Efficiency" only has a SEER of 7.7, even with it being 1985.

BWV is the indoor unit, BWD is the heat pump outdoor unit. Equipment is matched, ratings apply only with certain indoor units. If that BWD is installed on a different coil, ratings will be different.
Yea, 7.7 I wouldn't call high efficiency in 1985 either. But compared to the standard BWB heat pump, it is.
