Just sell Hard starts, blower caps and time delays, Imagine the money you could make.

Of course you would have to sit on them

They began showing up at the Mercedes dealers last summer..the name escapes me at the moment. The engine is a three cylinder diesel which lays in between the rear wheels.
    There's many different models...starting at $16,000 CDN.
The US will be importing the little citters late this year or early next year. They drive like a go-cart.

They are very popular in Italy.
The name over there is “Smart car.”
I wander how much will cost to
insure them, when they arrive to US?

Kinda reminds me of those old 250cc BMW Isettas except the wheels are out where they belong and ya don't have to get out through the front windshield

I can't believe anyone would lay down 16k for that undersized excuse for an automobile. If they'd drop the price down where it belongs, people might buy them for their 5 year olds to putter around the yard in.

Won't be seeing those in the USA any time soon. No way they could build one of those things that compact that will come even close to meeting US crash safety standards.

    No- the Smart

is actually a ford. I cant remember who makes those but when we were in Rome we called um "Flying Doors"

They were buzzing around everywhere but when 1 would drive by it looked like a car door on wheels. Hell- ya should see um park. I bet they have a turning radius of 12'! I guess ya could park one in your mailbox!

    Well whatever

when I was in EU Ford had a car called a Smart. Tiny little bastard but not the flying door. I always figured they be in the USA market too but I've never seen another.
