Why was the thermostat replaced?
I have a goodman split system, the air hander will not turn off, the themostat was replaced, it still will not shut down. Help
Why was the thermostat replaced?
How tall are you Private???!!!!
There was problem moving the auto, heat, cool, and off switch. it was stuck.
Did it do this before you replaced the thermostat?
How tall are you Private???!!!!
Yes it did, I think there is a relay stuck in the airhandler so I will check that next, after shuting off all power to the system, when power is restored airhander and heat strips kick in. outside unit only runs when it call for heat or cooling.
You really should call in a professional.
You are going to end up costing yourself more money when your little investigation is done...
How tall are you Private???!!!!
By the time you get this I will be calling
I wonder if it could possibly be that good old Goodman fan Sequencer "never" had to change any of those Lol.

You need to check the control wiring and take some readings with a volt meter. If you don't have a background in either of these areas you will have to pay someone who does.
All relays and control wiring was check, with the power off. The relay that control the heat strips was stuck in the closed position. I happen to have a new one to replace it with. The unit is now working fine
I agree with Mr. Bill. I wonder...
