Refrigerant pressure switches

I have a question about refrigerant high and low pressure switches. I have two pressure switches that do not have any kind of identification on them and one of them is a low pressure switch and the other is a high pressure switch, so how can you tell which one is low and which one is high?

Scotsman does not mark their switches either. The only way to tell is on the high pressure they have a push button.
Rocet scientist these manufacturers aren't they. Thet should be made to service half of the stuff they make. Another new thing on the market is the Frigidaire "Refriger-oven" keeps food cold, and at a preset time begins cooking it. Then to boot, 3phase 12volt DC Yeah!

for the most part, the low pressure switch will be the one that reads open at atmospheric pressure, and the high switch will read closed.(if they are good).

The two pressure switches that do not have any kind of identification on them are not installed. I have been taking HVAC classes and this is one of our home work questions. Our book doesn't really explain this and my searches on the internet have not turn anything up. I appreciate all your help.

If you will re-read cctrol's post you'll find the answer. Use you ohm meter.

look at the scale of #s on each one whats that tell you,come on you can get it ,
