    Have seen these advertised at one time or another...

    Air filter...increase fuel mileage 8%;
    Fuel filter...increase fuel mileage 11%;
    Engine oil...increase fuel mileage 14%
    Fuel additive...increase fuel mileage 17%
    Transmission oil...increase fuel mileage 7%

    I figure if I used all the above keep my windows up, my speed below 45 mph, and filled up with fuel saving hi-test, I'd be manufacturing gasoline just by driving around.
    No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.

    For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

    That's kinda like "No blow down water treatment".

    It says you have to watch your oil closer and change it more often because it will knock deposits loose and dirty up the oil. How is anything that has to do with the gas going to make the oil dirty?

    "The Smogbuster Fuel Disc is supposed to be taped or glued to the bottom of your car's gas tank. Its promoters claim it significantly increases gas mileage and improves air quality. They don't say why it works, or reveal the mystery behind it. Promoters claim it sends "holographic frequencies into the gas tank and changes the molecular structure of the gasoline."

    Who wouldn't believe that?

    When they use big words and say that this is the best, check at the bottom of the page. A discloser. When it sounds too good to be true it normally is. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck. I used to make gasoline back in my 20' & 30's. Tested it also, to goverment specs. It was interesting. I use Toluene as an additive, and xylene, the aromatics. Toluene is a good varnish, gum, carbon remover. No problem with the catylast converter. 6 oz. to 12 gallons fuel. You can buy it at the paint store under the trade name Toluol. Gasoline contains about 5% benzene these days so don't be siphoning it. Because it is worse than tetra ethyl lead??? Of the old days?

    OK , now dont tell anyone but this is backed by 30 yrs of research also. if you drop a magnet in your gas tank it will do the same thing!

    These kind of things dont have to work. all they have to do is convince someone that it does, and for $299.00 that would take an awfull lot of work trying to convince me it would do anything at all

    Toluol is just a trade name, like freon. The gallon can of Toluol contents will read 99.9% Toluene. There are 3 basic aromatics, and they are all kick butt octane boosters, plus cleaners and some are water soluble. Draw backs of benzene is that it is a killer to a white man. Yes skin pigment is a big factor and also benzene freezes at 42 degrees F. Toluene is the next best. Xylene, which is STP gas treatment is the lower grade and is water soluble. Chevron's "Techron" is also very good, but expensive, It contains toluene and stodder naptha, which is dry cleaning fluid. The old sayings about mothballs are true. Mothballs are a naphtalene, which is 2 benzene rings tied together with a double bond. They wont hurt you, I think, but I don't know the ratio's to a gallon of gasoline. Well you asked. Roy
