Finally! -20 fahrenheit and the phones ringing non stop. Supposed to get colder tonight. All we need now is another foot of snow for snowmobiling and everything will be perfect.

I have mixed feelings about this winter thing. We haven't had any harsh winters for many years. Business is maintaining a steady rate, not real busy, but not slow. Also it's a lot more fun working out in cold buildings and outside when you're not freezing your tail off.

But I do miss lots of snow and some cold spells so I can actually experience winter.

I went up to my camp yesterday. It is 11 miles away but it is 1300 ft higher than here. We have 8" of snow up there. Some people were out on their sleds in only that much. (For those of you who don't ride snowmobiles--when there is only that much snow you bang the crap out of your machine and your back.)

Nothing much down here yet. I just hope it holds off until we set that 90 ton RTU on Tuesday.

Todays count: 14 no heat calls done so far!
Mostly filters and ignitors and a few clogged condensate drains.

Yup, here too. Only getting a 19 degree rise outta the old heatin' pump so better turn it off and burn some gas. Outdoor stat is reading 12.2 so I guess I can't complain that I got til this late in the year before needing the high priced heat

    Thumbs up

most of my coworkers wear carhart bibs. I don't have them yet. long johns are enough most of the time long as they stay dry. same does with boots.

    Hey benncool

I have never seen a snow moblie or snow shoes, but I did have to drive my old backhoe-front end loader 15 miles the other day. The ride really got to my back. I know how you feel!
