I'm in the market for a new multi-meter. I've found a few that have a lot of nice options, but now I'm confused. Some have one single setting to check capacitance, while others have a couple or three or four settings. What advantage does the one with more settings have over the ones with just one setting?? More accurate at the different settings maybe?? What the minimum capacitance rating to look for? Thanks in advance!

Capacitance Measurement
I think that the fluke 18 is probably fine for checking capacitors and other needs along the way. (microamps...etc)
Keep it simple.....
