That, in and of itself, makes the existence of fieldpiece tools partially justifiable.

How about a "tazer" attachment, for those long drives when your helper falls asleep in the truck.
    Especially if he's driving.

ROFLMAO... I actually caught a cab in downtown Vancouver (Canada) it was late, and buddy drove me six or so blocks and was looking down the whole time (I thought he was refering to a map or something) Stopped at a red light and sat through two greens... I reached over the seat to tap him on the shoulder... he was fast asleep!!!

This is where a tazer would come in handy! needless to say, I left the cab, and buddy hadn't moved for the entire time I walked a block or so and caught another cab. I told the second cabbie that his partner is either asleep or dead... double or triple shifts'll do it to ya... I reckon.

Tazer in the Tool box... I'll look into that.

    Dave,
Yesterday before I left town, the local A.R.S. supply house had a Fieldpiece rep there and I handed him your ideas.
He thought maybe a few of them might fly...
He asked where the royalties should be sent?
I said I don't think that Dave would want to be a team member??????? of Fieldpiece...

If not maybe the guy will log on to this site and keep track of your ideas..

    Yuma,
What is snow? Is it that white stuff in a freezer?

I think it was just a Fluke that I stumbled across the DL250 by UEI and never looked back. So far so good. My first Electrical Guru swore by Fluke... and still does, but there are other good ones out there... what's your thoughts on Greenlee?

Greenlee bought out one of the old meter manufacturers, but I cannot recall which one.

Ideal, on the other hand, bought and ruined AW Sperry's meter division.

UEI's are just plain dangerous, man, seriously. I know they look cool and stuff with the bigass display, but just be real careful with that.

The B.S. Detector was the first thing that came to mind- frozesolid beat me to that one. Instead of a tazer, how about a 9mm? Diceman?

    BTW, UEI Sucks.
