The US has always been more timid than not. WWII went on for two years before Americans joined the fight in Europe. The US held back jumping in the conflicts since trying to resolve problems with other methods. I do not necessarily see that as a bad thing. Shoot first and ask questions later only works in the movies. Mind you life probably would be better if some of the wars were fought to a conclusive end.

Yeah well the whole world has gone to hell. Started some time ago and now we finished it off with a commie Kenyan Muslim elected President. We are all screwed. Some day I won't hold back and tell you what I really think about it all. Thank you, thank you very much.

I know the Shoot first only works in movies....North Korea has already fired....Hussein already fired when he invaded Kuwait....

I believe most of the lies and deceit started in the 60s Glenn....Bay of Pigs, assassination of Kennedy and his brother, etc. etc.

I also believe that Patton was assassinated because of his popularity and because of what he knew about national treasures and how they were being distributed.
Patton could have ran for the presidential office and won....the powers that be didnt want that to happen.

I'll go along with that 90% (don't know about Robert he was sorry in my opinion) and add a few like us getting into both WWI and WWII when we could have avoided it. Thank you very much

Im guessing NK'S leader is sick and not thinking right. Hence his move to place his son in power.
Maybe this is his idea of a show of force to get everyone to back down.

The key would be China, without them North Korea was finished in 1954. Most of the combatants at the end of the war were Chinese, not North Koreans.

I wonder how much of the world Kim has seen over the years.
Granted he keeps his people ignorant and brainwashed so the ruling elite can live in luxury but many know the truth.

Dealing with NK is like fighting with a big, mean ,evil ,mentally ill person. No one knows what they will do.
Its been said that the only reason China backed them in the last war is so they would have a friendly neighbor on that border next to them.
Unless China has their own version of a real glasnos soon nothing will get better.

I believe China is to blame for NK. NK is just a buffer zone for China, with a bunch of well placed Red Chinese (NK) puppets doing their bidding. Kinda how Israel uses the United States.

As a side note, one of the major factors in the US entering Europe is that the inventor of the Buzz bombs had also invented one capabable of hitting American soil from New England to NYC once England was won. Then the missles would have been positioned in England and focused on us.

We got involved when it looked like we were within range of the German missles and not because we were trying to save Europe, in part.

Kinda agree but it is reversed. The big guy Red China uses NK whereas Israel the little guy uses us so they can bully the Palestinians and make us the enemies of the whole Muslim world. Nice move thanks to their lobby in the US and their very effective continuous and unending wailing about the "Holocaust". Thank you very much

Well if they would have listen to Patton, took what was left of the German military, and took out the damn Commies, we wouldnt have the problems we have today.

Of course the military complex liked the Korean and the cold war that followed, for it put trillions in their coffers, so they could buy all the votes to keep it all going.

Were just pawns in a game that one day is going to end civilization as we know it, it happend thousands of years before, it will happend again.

Can't argue with you to much there roy except for the real motive behind it all is in my opinion more ideological motivated like in liberalism (lets never defeat communism, Regan the exception), the Israeli lobby, socialism, political correctness, women voters, illiterate voters, wussification of America and changing American demographics from European to 3rd world immigrants.

Therein lies the problem in my opinion. Now I've said to much and I am now classified I guess as a Neanderthal. Thank you, thank you very much
