Anyone know the difference between the IP or SI edition and what would be most beneficial to us?

I think one is for outside U.S.A. and the other is for us.

IP shows inch's, feet, btu's, etc
SI shows Cm's, meters, joules, etc. SI is metric edition, if you are in US get IP."Profit is not the legitimate purpose of business. The legitimate purpose of business is to provide a product or service that people need and do it so well that it's profitable."

Systeme Internationale (French) or The International System of Units. (what the world uses)
as opposed to IP (idiot position) the method we utilize in the US. (inch pound actually)
Might as well call it idiot position because the US is an island with this method of measurement.

Joey,
I think the Gray Manual, Honeywell part number 77-1100, is still available thru Honeywell distributors. The last one I bought I got about two years ago. It's the I-P edition, not the S-I edition. sysint was so eleoquent in his description of the difference between the two! I got mine from NECC - a Honeywell distributor in PA. Their phone number is 800-227-9800. If you call ask for Mark.

Honeywell Gray Engineering Manual is also available for download at the Honeywell website:
http://customer.honeywell.com/Honeyw...777CCCAD5B3%7D
On the right hand side you will see Related Information, and then below that is the link to download the Manual. Right click and then do the "Save Target As" to save the file to your PC. Be aware, it is a large download (7 Mb) for dial-up.
