In another thread a week or so ago, we discussed that other forms of flying (other than commercial airliners) have no security. Yes, I can just hear it now: But only a jumbojet could take down WT1 & 2... And I agree... However:

A corporate jet carries enough JP2 (fuel similar to diesel) to take out most state capital buildings... and the white-house for that matter. There is more to this 'air safety issue' than safety IMO... but I do not want to start an ARP conspiracy thread here.

I like the idea of just quit flying unless it is necessary. The airlines will figure out a way to solve the problem when faced with bankruptcy. And this will resolve the issue of crowded airports...

On a radio talk show; the host suggested many folks were teaming up and renting private 'netjets' for trips... Might be a viable alternative... and one would not have to put up with being herded around like cattle at the airport.

Of course they only hire the finest among the fine. I have dealt with these jerks. For alot of them it is a power trip and they couldn't spot a terrorist if he drove a dump truck full of TNT through the terminal. I would rather take my chance of being blown up in the air than live in a police state. I see the pilots might be able to opt out of the scans. WTF? I bet 19 year old Muslim men who purchase one way tickets don't get "randomly" selected for a pat down.

I was almost escorted out of an airport in Providence, Rhode Island over a conversation I had with one of these Rambos.

I've been saying since 9-11 that the terrorists have won. They wanted to take away or freedom and they did in more ways than just invasive TSA searches.

Funny you mentioned busses... I rode a Greyhound in the summer of 2009... literally NO security at all. And all the traveling I did in 2009, I rode the local subway repeatedly to/from the airport... again no security... Go figure.

And BTW: Muslim women in Burka's are exempt from the pat-downs. Look it up.

Burka women cannot be exempt. CAIR may not be happy about this, but there is no official exemption for muslims. They get a hand up the arse just like everyone else.

How absurd would that be? Neopolion troll said there were 'more coming on this' information. LOL! Hmm,... what more do we need? THAT DOES SEEM LIKE A FAIR QUESTION. Muslims cannot get a pass, That would end in a state of USA revolt.

I am thinking they probably have wind of an attack soon, so this is the way they decided to deal with it. I guess that is okay, but it does not address the real problem.
