I use yellow jacket low loss fitting on my manifold hoses.
They work fine, but are little too large in diameter-makes it hard to attach to the schrader valve on the units I work on. Someone previously posted about another brand that's a little smaller and fits better, but I can't find it.

i make sure to use hoses with the ball valves in the line so i know when it is off and does not have a huge bulky fitting on the end of the hose
