Surplus Centrifugal Parts

I know that somewhere out there one of you know where I can find good used parts ! I am searching for a Carrier Centrifugal impeller wheel. It is for a model 19DH21 compressor. The machine itself dates back to 1981 and new replacement cost from the factory is more then we would like to spend. The actual part # is 19DH25-1044. You don't want to see the original wheel. The nosecone and locking ring came off and bounced around the impeller and shroud.
Needless to say it was not a pretty picture. The machine has not been apart prior to this since 1997. Any help would be appreciated

Yes I am and have been for 15 years, most of that was spent working for manufacture of HVAC equip. It was one of the big 4, kin of rhymes with crane. So I guess it would be safe to say that yes I am in HVAC. A chiller that is almost 25 years old should be retired anyway, at least to ARI equipment life expectations. Those are under ideal conditions. I'm just not familiar with using the internet this way and second dealing with used parts.

I know this is hindsight 20/20 but if it had an annual taerdown and proper maintenance then it would probably still be runing fine.

Sorry, I know of no NOS parts. Sounds like the impeller might cost the same as a new unit.

Yes, I agree if this was the case, but this goes way beyond a set-up for an annual. This chiller has been under contract since way before I started to work here. Company records indicate that the last major yeardown was in 1997 for a bearing and gear inspection. The machine has ran as could be expected of a 4th generation 19D series that is 24 years old. I'm new to this site and was looking through the picture section and only found residential and light commercial equipment, maybe I chose the wrong site for my search. I agree on the cost compared to the value of the chiller.

I agree on the cost compared to the value of the chiller. This machine has had monthly inspections and annuals each year that included oil analysis and refrigerant analysis. Both the refrigerant and oil are clean as new. I do take a little offense to your suggestion of lack of proper maint. My exp. tells me that an electrical fault may have caused an out of phase condition and stressed the impeller when it cleared.
