    Pre sanded copper fittings?

    Hello yall. Just wanted to know how many of you pre sand you copper fittings you keep in your vans? I did this for a remodel job I did the other week and it saved so much time. I have a total of 4 cordless drills, two with wire brushes and the other for screws and drilling.

    I do not. I sand them at installation, they tarnish, get things spilled on
    them, so on. I keep sandpaper roll, and wire brush with my tourch.

    I was taught that sanding removed the oxidation, wouldn't sanding ahead defeat the purpose? I sand at install.
