haven't had boiled peanuts since I was a kid growing up in Florida we used to get them at the roadside stand a few miles from home- they are really good if they are still warm when you eat them (kinda like fries-not so good when they get cold) and they are supposed to be salty !

They are made to eat fresh and warm or sell to Yankees along with 15 pound bags of bad oranges.Those old farmers found out years ago it was easier to pick Yankees than cotton.
A boiled peanut is really no different than a roasted one.
Same thing with a chicken

Had a guy who worked in our shop a few years ago who was
from the south. Told us about something that sounded
like "boled penis" and that he would make some for us
sometime. He never did.
