Yea, I just came in from outside a few minutes ago. Now time for bed. I was at a lock in at the K C Zoo last night. Tired today.
Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of tank or service reg problems. Bad seating, ice, etc... You'd only see this if you took the pressure on the valve inlet and watched it for a while. If it were tank reg (holding the service reg closed) you may be inclined to condemn the service reg wrongfully.
Drove 200 miles one wintery morning as an equipment manufacturer's rep to find the installers had installed an ancient reg halfway across the roof out in the open. It was also tilted with the diaphram bleed port (1/4" hole!) at a 45 degree angle up! Took the reg apart, cleared out all the ice, straightened it up, put a loose tin can over it and refired the unit. Told the customer to get his regular guy to put the right reg on
That was 10 years ago... I wonder if the tin can has held up this long?
Is this a Fabreze moment? C.Y.D. I'm voting white elephant. 2¢.
My competition are my best salespeople!
