    Smart Valve Mystery

We tried to start up a N9MP105 furnace today for temp heat. The furnace has a smart valve SV9541M2094 with ST9160 EFT.

The furnace was converted to propane last year and was working.

Now the ventor motor comes on, the ignitor glows but the pilot never gets any gas. We tried 2 smart valves, 1 board and one ignitor. Still no gas.

We have 11" WC at the gas valve. No blockage in the pilot tubing.

We installed the propane spring in the new smart valve we tried.

The ventor motor is coming on. We tried jumping the PS after the ventor starts just in case we have having an problem with it.

We tried coming out all the limits and safeties. Still not gas will flow out of the valve.

The only thing we probably don't have is a good ground. But this should cause the pilot valve not to open?

    Any suggestions would be great.

Found the problem. I had a bad regulator on the propane tank. I got 10 IWC intially but it increased after I took off the manometer. The ignitor was coming on but I guess if there is too much gas pressure the pilot wont open. Once I was able to get a steady 10 IWC it open and the pilot lite every time
