    Hmm

i have the coil mounted above the actual unit in a cabinet...typical all,and it is piped in with 5/8ths copper.the supply header is 3" with a return header 2 1/8" 45 plus stories high.does anybody know of a stated pressure drop thru these units by McQuay...i have their install manual nothing on that.the hot water is 180F at 100 psi supplied and this is the first winter, and there are units that flush out big time supply and return, but when hooked up to the system risers they just sit.piped off the GALVINIZED header they have a 1" dielecrtic into a copper half TEE..one line out to each fan coil unit 5/8 typical of all return and supply takeoffs.the ones that are heating OK you can hear the water noise when you shut off the ball valve or open it up..i am going to start putting a guage on them both sides as i test and flush any info or opnions...thanks
