    I was talking "pure" BACnet companies... and that list... can I subtract everyone using ALC stuff like multistack? List gets really small fast.. It would be like me saying there are hundreds of LON companies... (there are)

    I still think you can count them on one hand.

    Not anymore, It was a simple firmware upgrade that will now allow Alerton's controller's (backward compatible) to be PTP without the use of a global controller. The firmware is in the final stages of testing and should be available in a month or two. More than likley other bacnet vendors will follow suit if they are not already.

    That's a big step in the right direction.

    Maybe sometime in the future BACnet manufacturers will decide on a common networking tool across vendors and almost be as easy and open as Lonworks.
