    HSPF THE HIGHEST

    Who manufactures the highest HSPF air to air 4 Ton heat pump?

    Their highest efficiency model at 4 ton under the various brands hits 9.8 HSPF. There were a lot that hit 9.75 however.

    York makes the highest HSPF split system (10.70).

    That may mean Coleman also may produce a high hspf system

    The question was for 4 ton. But not surprising that York has the 3 ton as well.

    No wonder I couldn't find it, that's with 3rd party coil. I looked only at system coils. The 4 ton could do better (on paper anyway) with an ADP though in real life, probably not getting it. The highest of anyone with system coil is a 2.5 ton Rheem/Ruud at 10.20 it appears.

    I've been nervous about using 3rd party coils on heat pumps since they aren't tested in real life. Always wonder how some of the high SEER systems do with a smaller indoor coil in heat mode.

    Nordyne's 4 ton IQ drive heat pump has only a 10 HSPF rating. But when you look at 20 SEER, 11 EER, and ability to match heat loss/gain over a huge range (40 to 118 percent of rated capacity) resulting in extremely long run times, it is a game changer.
