Remove the service panel and see if the noise changes. If it does, then its the vent piping, if not, its the circ.

it is probably making that noise on space heating only because the boiler starts firing on low fire on heat call, and then ramps up if needed, on a dhw call the boiler goes right to high fire. that noise will only be produced with a low air flow in the vent. ..........i think

Yes, but the noise is present even if the boiler is not firing and the circs are still pumping.

0011 is kind of big for the primary loop isnt it? That is a high velocity pump, at least I thought it was. Since the primary loop is generally short, I would think that using a 0011 is overkill.

Some thing may have gotten into it, or it may be a defective unit.
Its under warranty, have it replaced if defective, or the obstrution removed.

The Ultra 230 requires a 0011 for the primary loop.

According to the boiler manual the boilers circulator for the Ultra -80 and -105 takes a Taco 007. The Ultra -155, -230, and -310 take a Taco 0011.

I opened the 011 twice already and cleaned it out and so forth. I think it just might be bad and needs to be replaced.

I'm thinking the 0011 pump might be a problem. That does have a high curve to it as far as head. I'v been using the 007 pump for short primarys because they don't usually have any head to speak of. I have had problems with the 0011 in the past due to manufactor reconmendation which maybe wasn't the best way to go. Check the size and make sure 0011 is the right pump for your application.
FYI I have hot water baseboard at home and I can hear a chine (ring) in some rooms but I'm just too lazy to fix it. Go figure, the cobbler has no shoes.
