Finally found out, it was an electrician working in the attic, running wire for an aux. elect. heater for the upstairs bathroom. He evidently kicked, or I think he stepped on the air tight starting collar because it was crushed. This then caused the flex duct to become disconnected resulting in loose insulation blowing wildly around the attic. This broken connection was right next to the condensate drain. I think this is why we found gobbs of wet insulation in the drain when we cleared it. The woman/H/O has the number to the VADPOR Office and she is thinking about trying to register a complaint.
