My cousin really wants to get into hvac and say he's gonna enroll into a online Hvac course.I think he should just go to a Trade school or community college like me, but he says online schools are better. Are online schools any good? are they worth the money?

I think there are several schools that are worthy, but it's going to be VERY difficult to become a tech with out any hands on.

I'd love to take an electrical class online to grasp how that new fangled electricity works... but by no means would I expect to become an electrcian after taking that course.

Please post in links to known online courses worth their money. I need to brush up on skills and learn about equipment changes since I last did this work. Reading 2 hours every evening here helps, but I'd really like some more intensive study. Hands on isn't an issue for me.

http://www.educationdirect.com about 700 dollars and http://www.pcdi.com is about 550 dollars. These are two online schools for hvac that i found.
