Almond Bros: Bad Moon Rising=Bathrooms on the right.
Before I knew the words to some songs it sounded to me like the artist was saying something else. For example when Neil Diamond sings "Forever in Blue Jeans" I thought he was saying Reverend Blue Jeans. What are some lyrics that you thought was something else when you first heard it?

Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" Thought it was a racial thing when they sang; "darks are hassled, in the classrooms."

Back in the late 60's
"Im your Venus"
pretty self explanatory
Did't that song go:Originally posted by tin_fab
"Im your Venus"
I'm your Venus, I'm your pride and joy? Or something like that?
Yep, the "P" work would fit in there nicely.
That's a common one misunderstood;
Shocking Blue's, "Venus"
Misheard Lyrics:
I'm your penis, and vagina...your desire
Correct Lyrics:
I'm your venus, I'm your fire at your desire

"All in all it's just another kick in the balls"
How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?
What about DR DRE or Snoop Dogg? what the hell are they saying??
Rolling Stones - Beast of Burden - cant believe i am going to admit this - think i was around 9 when the song came out and I thought they said "I'll never see your pizza burnin'" can you tell I was a chunky monkey at a early age.
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Power of Equality: What ever happened to your Manitee? (What ever happened to Humanity?)
Hendrix: 'Scuse me while I kiss this guy.
Jason
"momma be there"
thought it was
"momma pee'd there"
lit up like a douche and and a rubber in the night
-Blinded by the Light
Installs, Changeouts, & Heat Stroke.....not necessarily in that order
blinded by the light, wake up and go douche your hole later in the night.
Ahh yes, Manfred Mann's Earth Band lyrics. Three major hits spanning three decades. Doo Wah Diddy was self explainatory but Mighty Quinn and Blinded by the Light have issues.
Blinded by the Light is difficult to understand what they are saying;
....being the misheard on the last posts."Wrapped up like a duece, another runner in the night."
.................................................. .................................................. ............................................
With Mighty Quinn, we can understand the words but have no idea what they mean;
Then again, it was Bob Dylan who wrote Mighty Quinn.I like to go just like the rest, I like my sugar sweet
But jumping queues and makin' haste, just ain't my cup of meat
Everyone's beneath the trees, feedin' pigeons on a limb
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here
All the pigeons gonna run to him

Van Halen.
Panama, I thought they were singing Payen-m-off
we can understand the words but have no idea what they mean
"If there's a bustle in your hedgerow
Don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean for the May Queen"
WTF is that?
From the 80's, the soang "I can read your mind", I thought it was "Hide or eat a pipe"
Also, Paul McCartney's "Every time you go away" I always sang "You take a piece of MEAT with you"
It's self-explanatory, Robin. Where WERE you in the '60s??????????Originally posted by RoBoTeq
