1.73 around here, was up to 1.84 in South Texas and this is where most of the gasoline is refined and produced. Shipping charges? Well 35 or so dollars to fill up. We had it good for a long time. I feel it will go to $2.00 soon and stay there for a while.

Geez, we're thrilled that if you look, a gallon of gas can be had for $1.95. Most stations still at $2.05. San Jose, Ca.

Linden : Im up here in sacto, they are doing all they can to keep it as close to $2.00 around here to . We in calif seem to pay more than the rest of the country.
Every year the refinerys in the bay area shut down on a rotating basis for maintenance, and every year when they do , the price rises untill they are finished, (usually april or may)
As close as the refinerys are to this area and SJ you would think our gas would be a little cheaper
