Hell, I just got rid of my old T.V. that had knobs on it. No remote. Just VHF and UHF. I finally got cable.

I can't live without my History channel and Discovery channel. Mythbusters are cool as hell.

I never knew a guy that wasn't glued to HIS REMOTE.
A problem with remotes is they don't light up. At night it would be helpfull. I have one that came with my receiver that I'll never use. It must have 100 buttons.
I remember the first one. Made by Zenth. I think it worked on tones with resonate frequency relays.Tracers work both ways.

Is it just the TV whose buttons you like to push?

yes the 1st one was made by Zenith and it was called the lazy bones. It did work by tones, but was faulty in the fact that someone jingling a key ring could change the channels. I also agree that they should make a light up remote. I do however recall seing a remote that glows in the dark guess its a step in the right direction, but not quite there yet.

I want a two-way remote, one the you can get to beep or something when you can't find it. Or inflates to push up the seat cushion or bedspread it's buried in.
