Our state is one that requires a 5 cent deposit on beverage cans. So on any given Monday morning you can see some old guys walking the road, with a sack, collecting cans.

This is the Leon Hess that back in 1968 or 1970 had a refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was a union plant. He said, " If you workers strike one more time I will close the plant". They did and he did. No more plants in south Texas. Check out Amerada-Hess, Virgin Islands, St. Crouix. Roy
