i have never worked on a microwave before but had a customer ask while i was looking at a fryer. so i have some questions.

the microswitch for the door is bad this looks like no big deal to swap out. but the door latch is also messed up and needs to be replaced. what does it take to replace the latch in the door?

    thanks for any help

Never had to replace the door catch, I have always had replacement of the door door switch fix up loose latch and bad switches, the switches are in a assembly when you get them.

The latch on the door is just held on by a SMALL allen head screw. Ive worked on many of these before. And the Switches are easy just held on by a few 1/4" hex heads

You're kidding right? I posted that file twice. You didn't get it? I stopped leaving my personal files permanently on threads that are open for anyone to get. That file (not a link) was from my training class on microwaves a while ago.I you are interested,PM me your e-mail add. and I will get it out to you. As a side note , I also didn't notice that the OP had gotten and used the file to help him in any way. Why waste my time?
