I met my wife in a Michigan basement while I was on a service call. I proposed to her in parking lot outside of Hudsons at the Twelve Oaks Mall.........

She has never forgiven me for being so insensitive and unromantic!

We were a couple of hippies living together in sin when I needed to renew my car and motorcycle insurance. When I found out the insurance would be $200 cheaper if I was married, I proposed.

Actually, what I said as we were getting ready for to go to sleep was; So...you want to get married. To which she said: I don't know, do you love me? My reply; Well, we get along pretty good and my car insurance would be lower and it would be easier to get credit.

Two months later we were married. 23 years after that we were divorced.

I have never proposed, and the rate I am going, I never will LOL

I have had first and second dates, that is the extent of my love life........

All I ever wanted from the time I was a kid was a nice wife and nice family, here I am 26, and still have yet to meet anyone.

Our senior year in college, we were living together. Sitting up on our waterbed just hanging out. I said, hey ya wanna get married....she said....sure. And that was it, no big event, go getting down on my knees and crying and stuff. Didn't have any money, no job prospects, nuttin. Didn't even have a ring, she finally got a really good one, several years later.......anyway, that was 3 kids and over 30 years ago, so I guess we did something right.

We were all drinking at a local pizza joint and the words slipped out of my mouth. Too much of a pussy to take it back. Six months later I kicked her out and filed for divorce. We're still friendly though.
