    Good song!

    Mein (former) Kompf

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxrYaKrkUaE

In this life of me just sitting here alone
And by the way, I tried to say I'd be there for you
Walk beside an emptiness that leads me by my hands
And throw away what I don't understand as a man

    Love, Hate, Sex, Pain
    It's complicating me sometimes, this
    Love, Hate, Sex, Pain
    It's underestimating life

And I wonder as tear away my skin
It's taken me so long to stitch these wounds from where I've been
And mother please don't bury me I'm hangin' for my life
It's hard to say that I would be complete before I die

    Love, Hate, Sex, Pain
    It's complicating me sometimes, this
    Love, Hate, Sex, Pain
    It's underestimating life

    Don't you worry please
    Don't you leave me,
Because I slowly slip away through
    Love, hate, sex, and pain
    I fall away into
    Love, hate, sex, and pain

    Love, Hate, Sex, Pain
    Is complicating me sometimes, this
    Love, Hate, Sex, Pain
    Is underestimating life

    Love, Hate, Sex, Pain
    Is complicating me sometimes

Signature on hold. Trying to find a real Jefferson quote I like. Others here have bogus Jefferson quotes too.

I know I read Jaco's biography but I hardly remember it as it's been some many years. What I do remember was dude was nuts, on drugs, rich, wealthy, homeless and easily one of the most brilliant musicians of his (our) time. Played with quite a few big bands of his time.

He was not stabbed in a bar fight, he was literally beaten to death by the bouncer of the bar whom was some black belt in karate and twice Jaco's size, as most bouncers are much bigger.

Jaco instigated the fight, like he always did. It was his last one.

Another Know It All ~ Chevelle

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHEEu...eature=related

Damn you're so dull, still need to borrow your hate
Change what they can, persuade us back undercover

Oh old, you're so over, who made you king of the ages?
Tending the wounds, thinking of adding another

    But the chosen, never wrong

    He sat holding, several thoughts
I'll take anything that's not bolted down
    Bolted down

Tricking us in, don't get along if they're brothers
So phasing it out, correcting vision with fists

And drawing a line, still give it less than a week
Checking the wounds, thinking of adding another

    But the chosen, never wrong
    He sat holding, several thoughts
I'll take anything that's not bolted down
    Bolted down

    Became down
    Became down
    Became down
    Became down
    Down

    The chosen, never wrong
    He sat holding, several thoughts
I'll take anything that's not bolted down

    He was chosen
    (Chosen)
    Never wrong
    He sat holding
    (Holding)
    Several thoughts
    I'll take any-
    (Any)
    Thing that's not bolted down
    Bolted down

    Bolted down
    (Down, down, down)
    Bolted down
    (Down, down, down)
    Bolted down
    ...

I considered Stanley and Jaco when I made that statement. All incredible musicians for sure ( even ground as well for the most part ).

Contrary to popular belief this song is not about Jesus but merely uses him as analogy. The band has stated in several interviews that this song is about L Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. (thanks, Keith - Phoenix, AZ)

Just for clarification purposes: No one outside of the band Tool really knows what or whom rather that song is actually about. Many have theories as to whom and names have been brought to light along with interpretations and explanations. I interpret and thus use it as for anyone whom believes and acts as if they know it all, telling them "goodbye" cause I don't want to hear their know it all impotence and could care less to ever speak to or hear from them again.

I listen to it a lot, lately.

I listen to some insane stuff...right now just thinking about the distant past and a more simple time ( field parties in the early 1980's I guess , lol ). " Tell me people , what good is that ? "

Cemetary Gates, awesome song. One of the best rock concerts I've ever been to was Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power tour.

Speaking of the Infectious Grooves ..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suKtuoJyzaA

Insane-the mother funksters tear it up
The beat-that makes you wanna stomp it up
Rhythm-you just can't get enough of the Infectious Grooves
Hardcore-and then they switch it to the smooth
Got vibe-mix it in with the groove
The plague-that's gonna make you booty move it's the Infectious Grooves
    Gave it-the network of ability
    Threw in-all kind of insanity
Add it up-and now you got the recipe of The Infectious Grooves
    Chorus:
Talk to me baby you should of been good-you think you're on it
but you ain't got nothing on me
It aon't as if I hadn't told you so
So now you sit and then you go and when you hear it
Damn-that's what you say when you hear us
Jam-'cause the boys know how to make it all
Slam-now you wanna get with the program of the Infectious Grooves
    Pack'n-a loc'd kinda zak that's
    Attack'n-with the bass that's pump'n and
Smack'n-leave you breathless coughing and hack'n with Infectious Grooves
We found- the hippest, hardest, heaviest sound
Took it straight from the underground
Now you got the plague that's going around, known as Infectious Grooves
Talk to me baby it's me again
I love to tell you 'cause it ain't the way that you wanna hear
You try to stop it, but I seen you move your booty
Move that booty, mmm that's a booty, she has a very nice booty Infectious
    Now you know it's Infectious
    It's Infectious-the rhythm that'll tear it up
Infectious-the beat that makes you get on up
Infectious-the mother funksters tear it up-with the Infectious Grooves
    Infectious-A loc'd kinda zak that's
Infectious-with the bass that's pumpin and
Infectious-leave you breathless coughing and the Infectious Grooves
Infectious-switch to the smooth and it's
Infectious-mix it in the groove and it's
Infectous-the plague that makes your booty move it's the Infectious Grooves
    Infectous-the plague that makes your

    Jingle this.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m8fm3Z7jgWM

    I'm diggin' with my fingertips
I'm gripping at the ground I stand upon
    I'm searching for fragile bones
    Evolution
    I'm never gonna be refined
Keep trying but I won't assimilate
Should we have come far in time
    Watch the bow break

    And I'm sorry that I don't believe
By the evidence that I see
That there's any hope left for me
    It's evolution
    Just evolution

And I I do not dare deny
    The basic beast inside
It's right here it's controlling my mind
And why do I deserve to die
    I'm dominated by
This animal that's locked up inside

Close up to get a real good view
I'm betting that the species will survive
Hold tight I'm getting inside you
    Evolution
And when we're gonna find these bones
They're gonna want to keep them in a jar
The number one virus caused by
    Procreation

And the planet may go astray
In a million years I'll say
    Those motherf&%$@rs were all deranged
    It's evolution
    Just evolution

And I I do not dare deny
    The basic beast inside
It's right here it's controlling my mind
And why do I deserve to die

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. (President Theodore Roosevelt)
