Agreed, certainly the meat and potato's of fusion. I'm making a drum cover video of "Aurian Matador" maybe I'll be able to post it before my next ban...

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat. (President Theodore Roosevelt)

I prefer this if you like jazz fusion. Miles is the man who started it all. I believe Billy Cobham got his start with Miles.

But I do get that this is a little dissonant and complex for most people's taste.

It's unfortunate that most think Nirvana was groundbreaking. They obviously never listened to enough AIC.
lol, agreed. Laine Staley was the shi*! I appreciate the new singer but, I'm sure you agree, there is no substitute.

I love all music. I have a huge collection of Miles on vinyl and CD. Listened to the remastered "Kind of Blue" last night.
Signature on hold. Trying to find a real Jefferson quote I like. Others here have bogus Jefferson quotes too.

They are once again on tour as we type, hitting Houston at The House of Blues November 19. Thinking for a B-Day present to myself I'll be going.
