    York Screw 2

    Gentlemen,

I recently replaced the motor on a York YSDC screw machine.
The machine would not start due to slide position greater than 30%
so I had to clear the position by calibration.
Started the machine and the slide will not unload below 47%
I verified the Amperage reading on the front panel and it was correct.
I cannot get my hands on a service manual.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Full model is: YSDCCBS3-CMES

Motor had a bad bearing, Changed motor and tried to restart
It had start inhibit due to slide position being greater than 30%
The only way I could get it to start was to make it fail the calibration.
Started the machine and checked the amperage. Motor pulling 160a with FLA of 390a 47% loaded. it will not unload below 47% built up head pressure and checked the slide valve pressures I could see the solenoid opening and closing but the pressures never really showed me anything 100psi or more then dropping to below 90 psi. Slide valve voltage on calibration shows 2,67 volts and never changes.
Johnson doesn't want to give up any info and I need service books for the optiview and the machine. any SB on the slide valve would be great also.

    Thanks in advance.
