That would be a great place to ride, we did a equip c/o in Fayetteville two years ago. Drove up highway 71 from New Boston to Fort Smith and all alone the way I kept dreaming of being on the bike.
This is an annual event you say?
If you own a bike and you are not here you are missing a great rally. 500,000 + attend. Out of the top seven rallies in the country BBB is third behind Daytona and Sturgis. It is a charitable event. This year seems to be bigger than last year. I live a couple blocks off a main drag here and the noise is deafening inside my house all night long.

If any member of HVAC talk would like to attend next year I rent out two rooms in my house during the event. There is no charge to a fellow HVAC/R tech and family members. Any rooms at hotels/motels, campgrounds, RV parks, and cabins are booked years in advance in about a 70 mile radius of Fayetteville.
There are some really great roads around here to ride on. Old scenic 71 through the Boston mountains, HWY 16 out to the pig trail South, ride to Eureka Springs by several different scenic routes. There are many others. The beauty is you can be in a metropolitan area eating at a Ruth's Chis Steakhouse and 15 minutes later you can be in Arkensaw hillbilly territory riding through the woods on fairly good roads.
Just thought I would let folks know about this event since I see a lot of bikers on this list.
Signature on hold. Trying to find a real Jefferson quote I like. Others here have bogus Jefferson quotes too.

There are a lot of great places to ride here.
It is an annual event that started 10 years ago with 500 riders. Last years attendance estimate was around 500,000. It used to be held on Dickson Street just off the UofA campus but has had to spread out to other areas in Fayetteville to handle the huge crowds. It starts Wednesday at 3:00PM and ends at midnight Saturday. The dates are variable due to Razorback at home games and other factors. It is trending towards the end of September because it can still be 100 degrees here at the beginning of September. This year was perfect. Highs in the mid-seventies and hardely a cloud in the sky.
The event is non-profit. Expenses are taken out and the rest of the proceeds go to various charities in the area.
