    Confused Marketing Co-Op Dollars

    Hi! I used to work for a local HVAC company and I am now working for a marketing firm. We're trying to gain HVAC accounts, especially for direct mail campaigns. I know that the manufacturers often have programs where you buy directly from them- but does anyone know if the co-op dollars would still be credited even if a '3rd party' was used for the printing, mailing list, etc.?

    I just happened to talk to my salesman today. He had suggested direct mailings done by a company he reccommended. I know they do not own this company, but they may have some agreement with them. Best bet is to contact some of the wholesalers and ask them how to get that kind of status.
