2 computers, 1 printer

I was looking for a splitter cable to hook up my printer to 2 computers. No one has anything local and I did look online. Hard to figure out though, most splitters were for video or audio or power.
I need one with the male plug in ftg and2 female plug in ftgs.
There is a usb on the other side but the ftgs for the printer is specific, a little u-shape thingy?
Anyone have any info or links.

They used to make a hard wired print server. I'm not sure if they make em anymore but it would be worth a look.

Network the two PCs with a CAT5 crossover cable. Connect the printer to one PC and enable sharing so the other PC can use it.

Get a router and set up a home network. Easy to do, routers now-a-days are almost PNP. Many very economical printers can be set up as network on an ethernet cable. Then each computer is secure, each computer can reach the internet, and each computer can print.

Personally; I had a hacker type living next door years ago... got rid of all the wireless stuff and went all hardwired (LAN). Works well for me.

I have a router and wireless already, I prefer to use a usb cable for a lot of reasons. My printer is wi fi as well but I still want to hard wire them.

Because I am idiot I guess.
Anyway, I just set up my new computer as wi fi and hooked the old one up with the usb cable since it is not on the network, I don't use it much at all. Just kept it for old records and some things.
They both work now, I had to rerun the software for the Kodak printer and select the option for wireless, thats all.
Thanks for the input on it, I just had to sit down and figure it out is all.
By the way I have that newer Kodak 6150 all in one printer, fax, scanner.
Its the one with the cheap ink cartridges, great product.

I have a Belkin USB Peripheral Switch for a model F1U201 or F1U401 that works great for two computers and one printer. I've used it for years with no problems.
