Check to see if they have a decorative cover for the cap. That could be an option for the front of the house vent option.
Ok still trying to decide on corner or wall fireplace . IF and I do mean IF we went with a corner fp how stupid would it look popping the vent out the front wall of the house ????
Other opt is flat wall vented thru wall with dv and into chimney with colinier
third option is other corner which has the chimney right on the back side, into chimney with colinier.
Before ANYONE jumps me I am NOT doing this myself but am looking for ideas.
The installers said any of these CAn be done.
Check to see if they have a decorative cover for the cap. That could be an option for the front of the house vent option.
have you seen these ??
Both kinds of direct vent pipe I have worked with have some sort of decorative caps or covers. Simpson Duravent has their new "sconce" caps which you can get in SS or Copper I think. HHT has a DRC-Radius Cover and also a Firebrick cap (yes its made out of their patented firebrick material).
You would have to check which brand of venting they will use with your stove, then see if that venting mfg has any decorative cap options, THEN you have to see if your appliance is listed for use with one of those decorative terminations or covers.
Examples since I am feeling extra helpful:
