    20" furnace with vs blower available with tax credit?

    What 20" furnace with vs blower available with tax credit?

    I was told the x13 but this is not variable speed.

    20" wide? How many BTUs? X13 is ECM and qualifies for low electrical energy use. It is not variable speed.

    There are quite a few. Look for 'C' sized furnaces for 20'. A qualified 95 AFUE furnace will get you a 30% tax credit. A qualified 80 AFUE furnace with an ECM motor will get you about 8% to 9% depending on the model.

    Actually most brands C width is 21".

    Ah, sorry I thought that's what he meant. An inch shouldn't make that much difference (at least that's what I always tell my wife).
