Your best bet is: get on the train and ride over to NYC. You can eat whatever you want.

Texas is a long ride from NJ. Might be easier for him to get to NYC.

Maybe you were talking to me, not sure. I definitely qualify for the title of Yankee more than a Brit does.

I agree with the head into the city thing. Hoboken got some great friggin

food spots though. The biggest advantage over the jersey thing is you gotta

drive to get from A to B....and for some reason....xyz is somehow in between.

In the city, you can hop out of a friggin cab and get a movie, dinner, music,

and drinks all in one block.......But your title said what to do in Jersey City.

Go to Liberty Science Center, and then get robbed anywhere else...LMAO

    You pick.

    Boardwalk Empire..............great show.
Jersey, the most populated state inthe USA.
I would go to Atlantic City and hit some casinos for sure.
Take a ride to the beach, maybe stone harbor.
    Stay out of Newark.
While driving, watch out for the circle thingys, they suck.
Does NJ still not let you pump your own gas?

Used to go there a lot but its been awhile.

I read the book the show is based on. I shut off the HBO because I never watched it. I hope they will release it on DVD like "Band of Brothers".

One tip on going to gamble in Atlantic City. If you plan on spending the night go on a Sunday. The last time I was there a room on the boardwalk that normally cost $475 a night was only $75. Food is still expensive but the booze in the casinos is free. All the day trippers are gone by the afternoon so there is plenty of room to move around.
Signature on hold. Trying to find a real Jefferson quote I like. Others here have bogus Jefferson quotes too.

Just talked to my cousin who lives in Hoboken. She says that most of the restaurants in that area (Hoboken, Jersey City) are pretty good. BUT!: do not eat at the Thai spot called Bangkok, her husband found a cockroach in his Pad Thai.
