H**L. I've legally vented HOSES with more gas in them than a 5000 BTUH window shaker.

Trying to recover, what, 10 ounces of refrigerant from a unit like that is a friggen JOKE.

    I've worked on exactly one.

    It was dirty.

I hosed it and hit it with CO2 and it kept the trailer cool until I got up the money for a central system.

I sold it for beer money.

Bet that old SOB is still chugging along.

I hope for your sake the MIB don't read the threads on this site. Just kidding. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.

IMHO he is just experimenting with something, trying to build up a 1/2 ton refer of some sort. What do ya think, he is trying to take work away from somebody? He's not asking how to make his 4 ton condenser cool, just looking for some advice on an invention he's worked on.

I really doubt that would be the case with such a hodge podge he had going.

Yeah, GA is a curious place (I did not grow up here).

Atlanta is a large metro city... however the rest of the state is mostly rural and good ol boy. One would do well to walk softly in many areas.

I have been in Norcross about 20 years, grew up in Texas.
