Even though I think it is very inefficient, your security apparatus at home has probably saved you a number of times from being hit. If you have no faith in your own countrymen that are trying to keep you safe that is your problem.
Back up and take a look at the big picture. Islamic aggressions against Americans increased over about three decades, including Islamic attacks on U.S. soil with relatively minor results, culminating in the Islamic attacks of 9/11, 2001. No attempts were made to attack the U.S. during our aggressive war was being waged in Iraq. During the two years since we announced our leaving Iraq and removing troops there, we have a half dozen attempted attacks once again in the U.S.

    I don't bellieve in coincidences.

We all know Saddam was bad. What we forget is we " created " him. We installed him, protected him, financed him, armed him, etc., etc,. The gassing of the Kurds was with American gas delivered on American helicoptors. Oh yeah, all the oil didn't go to other countries when the sanctions were in force. Quite a bit of it came here. Check your facts. Read. Quite a bit of it went to 2 brothers who years later financed the Tea Party. Very sad.

I just love it when people say "we created" somebody. NO! We didn't create Hussein, Pol Pot, the Shah of Iran or any of the other despots that we may have used during their political reign. These people are who they are without any help from others. Yes, we have used people like Hussein, but no, we did not create them.

When you use someone and they turn against what is best for you, you do what you have to to make things better.
