    I went to a thai restaraunt the other day. Found the fins on the evap. coil all smashed, n deteriorated. The electrical compartment is full of grease i could barely tell the transformer from the fan relay. a/h and cond 16 years old. I told the lady your going to need a new one a.s.a.p. china lady said "do i have atleast a few mow years".

    The other day i got a call sunday night 8pm. Lady calls "Oh my a/c is not working n im burning up" I told her its late sunday its over time charge she replies " I dnt care i cant sleep". I get there the unit was off on float switch. She was standing over my shoulder Oh what is the problem? It had a clogged drain line and your unit was off on float switch. " She said all you did was blow sumthing in the pipe from that black tank.
    hahahhahahhahahahahah. I love it. People look dwn on the service man. little do they know i make more than them.

    What I like are the ones that want me to detail out EXACTLY what I do on a Spring and/or Fall PM... and the price... So they can do comparative shopping.

    I asked one of them if the cheaper company solved the problem last time, or if I had to follow them up (and charge a second fee) to get it working... I was told that did not matter...

    They just went to the bottom of my priority list.

    naw the boys made a nice tight filter rack. every two years the filter was plugged enough to start cycling the limit. when it finaly failed they called.
    I've always wondered what is happening during the cooling season.

    Finaly done with the awfull oil burner. wet basement. no lights. horrible scary place.
    kind of job that makes you want to quit.

    Got called on Sunday from a regular. (I wasn't even on call but it's double time & didn't have plans). "I've got an emergency! Can you come out?" WTH - "I'll be there in 25 minutes"

    I had to move a stat so she could hang a picture! 4 hours of doubletime!!!!!!
    Yes I helped her hang the picture! (damn designer didn't have anchors strong enough)

    Takes all kinds!!!!!

    had a custumer pay tripple-time for an ignitor change.
    I told her if she waited 3 hours it would be straight time.

    Shop bookkeeper "you gotta give the folks what they want."

    Me "No, you give them what they are willing to pay for."
