A couple of observations
1.
Democrats want to help people.
LIBERALS want people to help THEM.
2.
Here is a question. (I dont know how to set up a POLL)
Is America headed in the right dirrection?
Is America headed in the wrong dirrection? Those who dance, appear insane to those who do not hear the music.
Those who believe, appear ignorant to those who do not know God.

No to both.
America is heading in a direction, not right or wrong completely. History will tell. The large problem is PEOPLE are in charge. Sometimes.
To think anyone believes that control on any direction is possible is simply not understanding the randomness and chance of the crazy idea we spend time on thinking that some how we are or can control things.
We are controlled by events because we react to them.
And don't be confused by labels like liberal and democrat, conservative, republican, libertarian, commie, socialist etc. In the end, most, if not a saint, want to help themselves.
People, especially sociopaths love power. Unfortunately, many are politicians.
The age old battle of the Pricklies and the Goos. Libs and cons.
Just rejoice when the system works because it's not often enough.
We don't know enough math to understand the randomness we live with.Tracers work both ways.

Pick a side hvacker...the chicken that stood in the middle of the road got hit from both directions....
If we were headed the right direction we would not have almost 20% unemployment, massive national debt, and a cult religon trying to infiltrate, divide and conquer us...

Joe, I couldn't agree with you more. Too many people sitting on the bench watching the game when they should be playing to change the score.

I think you are not taking into account the global influence on the US. Where did the jobs go? Overseas. Who owns your debt? Same place where the jobs went. Religion infiltrating, dividing, and conquering? Yes the religious right are a danger to be watched but as the constitution gives them the freedom to their beliefs there is not much to be done about them.

Madison and Jefferson were conservatives by today's standards. Jefferson for example believed the Bible and even edited his own version. He was not a leftist by todays standards.
The constitution was a concensis of all the signers who were primarly highly religious belivers in the Bible and Jesus Christ. The constitution was based on their collective beliefs and religious world view which was based on holy scripture. For their time one could say Madison and Jefferson were liberal but by today's standards they fit the religious right in their actions and world views.
The constitution is a right wing document!!!
The left of today is attempting to change it's meaning to mean something very, very different from what the signers had in mind.
Therefore, the constitution is what you get when the religious right has control. The founding of a democracy!
